I want to make it up and cut the drama so I’m gonna post this tonight. LOL This was supposed to be in my January-February TOTAL HAUL post. 

But I figured out that I wanted to blog tonight.

So I got them last January, as a part of my post-Birthday gifts for myself of course.

All in all I already have 8 NYX round lipsticks and 1 soft matte lip cream. I can’t seem to have enough lip products lately. Well, lipsticks are my favorite cosmetics and they are undeniably my guilty pleasures. 

I had a hard time choosing the shades I wanted, because in case you don’t know NYX’s round lipstick has a total of 144 shades.

I thought of having a variety, so I chose 1 nude, 1 red and 1 peachy color

So, here are my additions to my lipstick collection :)

(left - right)

Pumpkin Pie - peachy nude

Snow White - dark red

Peach Bellini - peachy/coral

Thoughts about them?

I love NYX Round lipsticks because they have a wide range of colors, and they are super affordable. They do vary with the finishes though. I don’t like the flimsy packaging and they are kinda soft so you have to be careful with applying, don’t press it too hard if you don’t want to break them.

Hmmmm.

Among the three Pumpkin Pie is

• my most used one, 
• just like what I expected it doesn’t settle on my lip’s lines 
• and it’s natural looking, ideal for school days and smoky eyes. 
• It’s a very versatile color, it would match any look.  
• I am not good with describing colors but for me it’s a slightly sheer peachy nude color.

On the other hand Snow White is

• the perfect blood red so AMEN for the name choice! 
• It gives a dramatic red color on my lips and I am soo game for that *but just not for school days of course*. 
• I prefer using this when I don’t have time or just too lazy to put eyeshadow or I just want to put an “I am fierce, don’t ever ever mess with me” look. HAHA 
• This is the perfect blaring red for the price!

Lastly Peach Bellini,

• I was looking forward with this shade the most because of the swatches I saw, but sadly it failed miserably for me. 
• Beautiful color, it’s a peachy coral cool-toned shade
• but the formula was just disappointing it was not moisturizing and even with lip balm on it still emphasizes my lip lines. 
• There are also some speck of glitters with it which I am not a fan of 
• and I can’t seem to apply this evenly. Soo SAD.

Hi cutieee! 

today, I am showing to you my ultimate favorite eye makeup look for everyday or for *school*.

I always play with my nude colors that I tend to change every now and then, it really depends to my mood. 

Pleaseeee do Note that I am not a professional makeup artist or anything close to that, I just love to play with my makeups and I have to admit that I do love to learn more about it. I’m considering workshops or seminars *after college*, just to learn more about this art. hehe And I’m really trying my best to get the proper lighting to capture the best angle but I’m only using a digicam :(

So please be nice and comment nicely on how will I improve. 

This is my messy self, I am trying to curl my hair using the old technique *putting some elastics* but I am really late for school already so I don’t have much time to dry my hair and go on with the curling stuff. at least I got some time to snap a picture before dressing up! haha

Some people may take this eye makeup look inappropriate for school but I personally love this and know for a fact that a girl can wear anything she wants as long as she can carry it flawlessly.

Kung Hei Fat Choi!!

Hi cutieee! As usual I am stealing some *paper making time* just to blog. 

So, let’s get started!

These past few weeks, I’ve been trying to learn to apply gel and liquid eyeliners for a more dramatic eye makeup. But I can’t seem to apply them evenly, so I end up erasing it and go for a safer upper lash line technique = without wings.

I told my friend Ate Raisa about my dilemma and she was such a life saver! She instantly remembered the video that she saw that can solve my problem. 

And I know you will surely be delighted as I am to learn this technique. So I am sharing you this video from the beautiful Asahi Sasaki from Japan. 

I never ever thought that a spoon can really do such a thing! I am such a happy princess! And I will be forever thankful to have a makeup junkie friend like Ate Raisa. So, Go visit and follow her blog to show some loveee. http://iamraisa.blogspot.com/ 

I therefore conclude that a spoon is now an additional tool for my eye makeup. hihi

So yeah, I tried and succeeded this time! HURRRAAAAYYY!

Here are some pictures, ‘coz me, my sister Eriele, her friend and my love went to SM Marilao to buy a new pair of heels *for Eriele’s field demo* and to run some errands *pay bills*.

Excuse me for I have this narcissistic side. HAHA

Do you think I should get a photoready powder/foundation? I do hate my face being white in pictures kasi. :(

WHY DO I LOVE it?
- it’s matte but it does not dry my lips.
- the tube may appear to be darker, but once applied it gives a gorgeous medium toned pink. I loveee the Barbie lips effect ♥
- the lasting power is definitely longer compared to round lipsticks and round lipgloss
- i truly love the candy/vanilla/ice cream scent! 
- Since as mentioned that its matte it still gives a smooth effect on the lips :*
- the sponge applicator can be very handy
- Well I don’t know if it’s just me but I feel like glowing/refreshed whenever I use this, so I tend to look myself in the mirror all the time. hehe :))

Additional tips:
- this is quite pigmented but very buildable. Apply lip balm underneath to lessen the appearance of fine lines. Make sure that your lips are in good condition before applying.
And one more thing you can improve the lasting power by also sealing a lip gloss on top of it. ♥
