My Face Brushes :)
*Finally had the time to edit this!!*
Hi cutieeee~!
Finally, I’m back with a more fun and related to “beauty” post.
The title says it all, and it’s not a secret that I love makeup right? And I know for a fact that as a makeup lover I must also invest my money to brushes especially to face brushes.
But let me tell you a secret I’m much more comfortable using my fingers in applying eyeshadows, I just use a shader/applicator brush and just blend everything with my sanitized fingers.
Anyways, back to the topic *I’m sorry if this is crappy*, actually I’m addicted to face brushes. And I want to have all kinds of them hihi.
So I just want to share to you my humble collection :)
- I just gave them a bath in this picture. :)
Advice: We have to always always always clean our brushes especially our face brushes! Because did you know that your unclean brushes can also cause breakouts? Yes, they can give you breakouts so you guys better clean your brushes regularly like I do. :)
I’ll start from Left to right
1-2. Clinique small blush brush and Estee Lauder blush brush
*note: i just named them*
they were both given to me by my mom ages ago LOL with a clinique duo blush and estee lauder single blush-on. Though they are small I prefer bringing them for touch ups and gimiks because they fit perfectly in my purse. I don’t like them much because I prefer bigger, denser and fuller ones but nevertheless they serve their purpose.
2. E.l.f. Stipple Brush
I was using maybelline aqua gel liquid foundation way back then, and I heard a lot of good raves with this brush for applying liquid foundie because they say it can give an airbrush finish so I tried it. Hmmm. I wish it was denser because sometimes when the liquid foundation dries quickly it leaves streaky marks. But I love this because it’s soft and easy to wash.
4. E.l.f. Foundation Brush
I love this for concealing, it saves me time because it’s big for that purpose, and how much you try to bend it, it just bounces back. For the price it’s such a steal. I also use this for applying liquid foundation sometimes, for a more tacky and if I want more coverage to certain areas. :)
5. Marionnaud N32 Blush brush
I love this brush, it’s for a more precise blush application. But it’s also an all around brush, so I can bring this alone and I can just use this brush for touchups, for concealing and routine foundation etc. especially when I’m in school. A lot of Filipino gurus owns one as well, even Miss Laureen Uy the fashionista/actress *sister of Liz Uy* has one of this lovable brush here’s the proof http://www.breakmystyle.com/2011/10/bms-x-swish-givaway.html :) hihi you know naman how much I read random blogs and I was surprised to see it.
6. Flat top Brush from Trinoma’s Landmark
It doesn’t have a brand but I soooooo love this brush! It’s one of my favorites for now and I just love to bring it always! It’s the right size for buffing the liquid/powder foundation in my face. ughhhh. I want to buy another one just in case but it’s always out of stock! It’s soooooo affordable, unbelievably cheap for a flat top 139.75Php only!!

7. Kabuki brush from Landmark
Last but definitely not the least is my newest kabuki brush! I’ve been lemming to buy this one since I saw it but I don’t know why I always fail to do so. But I’m really really glad that I finally have this one! It’s super dense, not flimsy and SUPER SOFT!!! Perfect for blending everything in or for applying loose foundation! you guys have to have one while their back in stock! I love it sooo much!! :)
so, that’s all! :) They are all affordable but perform well! It just justifies that even with a small budget you can still have good finds!
if you have questions feel free to ask me! :)
By the way, hmmmmm I’m thinking of buying next the famous
- E.l.f. Powder Brush from their studio line or
- the Baby Puff Doll sponge from Etude House *because I heard/read that it’s a dupe for the Beauty Blender sponge! :)
have to go now hope you enjoyed reading this. Byeeee!
Take Care and xoxo!!

MY FAVE eye makeup look :)
Note for Dashboard readers: I formatted this for my page, so this can be best viewed on my page :)
Hi cutieee! ![]()
today, I am showing to you my ultimate favorite eye makeup look for everyday or for *school*.
I always play with my nude colors that I tend to change every now and then, it really depends to my mood.
Pleaseeee do Note that I am not a professional makeup artist or anything close to that, I just love to play with my makeups and I have to admit that I do love to learn more about it. I’m considering workshops or seminars *after college*, just to learn more about this art. hehe And I’m really trying my best to get the proper lighting to capture the best angle but I’m only using a digicam :(
So please be nice and comment nicely on how will I improve. ![]()

This is my messy self, I am trying to curl my hair using the old technique *putting some elastics* but I am really late for school already so I don’t have much time to dry my hair and go on with the curling stuff.
at least I got some time to snap a picture before dressing up! haha
Some people may take this eye makeup look inappropriate for school but I personally love this and know for a fact that a girl can wear anything she wants as long as she can carry it flawlessly. ![]()

Moving Out and Recent Hauls :)
Note for Dashboard readers: I formatted this for my page, so this can be best viewed on my page :)

As mentioned on my previous post Mom and Dad finally allowed me to stay in the dorm with my friends but then again they only allowed me 2 days per week.
Sooo I have to bring lots of things to the dorm.
Btw, I can be the Queen of bringing lots of unnecessary things LOL
So here’s my kikay trolley bag, this also serves as my cabinet while staying here in the dorm. hehe
And being friendly truly gives me an advantage. The Fx drivers and dispatcher gave me a decent seat where I can relax without thinking of my big bag.
Very cutee eh?

Up close view :)

Let us now Go to my Recent Hauls. I am a poor princess because I had to buy lots of things. Not all the things that I bought were here in this photo.

Clockwise (L-R)
1. Nature Republic Nail polishes - actually I bought three of these lovely nail polish but I gave the grey one to my Cutie Puchee *Earl* hehe a little late birthday treat for her. Andd ohh I got a freebie zip pouch by buying these. I am so getting a lot of colors next time I visit Nature Republic at Trinoma!
Sorry if the pictures are crappy, I left my Digicam again for the nth time!
look at my nail still pretty after a week of using my mint green nail polish.

2. Toothbrush - I have to buy a new one that will serve as my toothbrush here in the dorm.
3. Loreal Shampoo and Conditioner in Sachets - almost same reason for #2
4. Nivea Extra Whitening Anti-Perspirant
5. Kojie san Whitening Soap -I am not after the whitening effect of this soap, I just use this for my bacne.
6. Paganini Brush - I do love how it makes my hair soft and manageable before bed and while drying my hair.
7. Paintbrushes from Deovir - This link will do the proper talking where will I use these brushes. hehe
http://misscorypotts.blogspot.com/2011/02/deovir-brushes.html
- I got DEOVIR 380 #6 PONY - which I’ll use for applying eyeshadows
- DEOVIR 970 #0 TAKLON - I will probably try this for lipstick application
- & DEOVIR 368 #4 PONY - This seems to me as a good crease brush/blending brush

8. Drawing Eyebrow in Shade/Color #2 Grey Brown from Etude House - I am super duper loving this product!! I have distorted brows and I don’t really know how will I properly pluck or shave or fix them not until I met this! I have natural Black Brown hair that is why I got this shade. So far soo good! Now, I can not leave the house without applying this.

9. E.L.F eyelid Primer - My loving boyfriend bought me this, I was really eyeing for this and he noticed it. Thanks Hunnhie! You’re the best boyfriend ever!

I also bought polymer clay, clay softener, chips and a lot more :)
So that’s it for tonight! I swear I’ll always find time to update my blog.
Lemme know if you want me to make a review on some of this stuffs. :)

Quick Review: E.L.F. Essential All Cover Stick
The reviews that I make are based from my honest opinions and experiences.
Note: Can be best viewed in my page http://crownlessprinsesa.tumblr.com/ then click read more.
Here I am again for another review on E.L.F’s All cover stick, I got mine in Light Beige
Sooo No more Introductions here it is
What E.l.f says: Achieve smooth and flawless skin easily! The e.l.f. All Over Cover Stick is infused with active natural ingredients and skin polymers to soothe and protect the skin to camouflage those problematic facial areas. Great for using on under eye circles, pimples, and as a primer. Getting a clear fresh face has never been so easy!

What do I like about this product?
- Very affordable: Pocket Damage = P129.75
- Good Pigmentation
- Scent is good (but I don’t want to apply this on zits)
- Good for covering undereye areas because it can be spread easily
What I don’t like about this product?
- Can be cakey when applied heavily *TIP: LESS IS MORE. concealers are always like that*
- Gives a heavy feeling, can be thick and chalky
- Doesn’t stay on, it flakes off *For reference: I have oily skin*
- I found it hard to blend
Not bad not that good either but you can’t beat the price!

Quick Review: E.L.F. Essentials Tinted Moisturizer *updated*
The reviews that I make are based from my honest opinions and experiences.
Note: Can be best viewed in my page http://crownlessprinsesa.tumblr.com/ then click read more.
Hmmm I was continuing what I started on My Wishlist which still needs more revising so it’s still on my drafts and a lot of E.l.f products were definitely included on my wishlist.
I really don’t want to bore you guys but I really do suck at making things straight to the point so I always end up telling stories first. *Big time Sorry for that*
I first bought my first E.l.f products on SM Manila with my boy buddies *Neil and Joefred*, my real purpose that time was since Economics Ball was fast approaching I needed to buy some items for the said event. What I bought was Tinted Moisturizer, All cover stick, duo eye shadow, bronzing powder and foundation brush.
I had love and hate relationship when it comes to E.l.f products but I’d like to try more of their products ‘cause their relatively affordable compared to other brands.
So lemme’ start by their:
Essentials Tinted Moisturizer
Ingredients: Benzophenone-3, Octyl Methoxycinnamate, Titanium Dioxide, Aqua(Water), Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Kaolin, Titanium Dioxide, Talc, Mica, Octyl Palmitate, Glyceryl Stearate, Synthetic Beeswax, Stearic Acid, Stearyl Alcohol, DEA-Cetyl, Phosphate, Propylene Glycol, Magnesium Aluminum, Silicate, Phenoxyethanol, Triethanolamine, Xanthan Gum, Methylparaben, Propylparaben, Ethylparaben, Fragrance(Aroma), Disodium EDTA, Iron Oxides(CI 77491 , CI 7492 , CI 77499)
What E.l.f says: Anti-aging formula combats premature aging and protects against sun damage while leaving skin radiant and moisturized. The tinted color evens skin tone for a natural look.
- I got mine in Light Beige
What do I like about this product:
- It’s easy to apply and blend
- Leaving a smooth finish
- Very affordable!
What I don’t like about this product?
- It feels heavy
- Poor coverage *for reference - I have oily skin*
- Doesn’t stay long *you can not put this alone*
- Gave me breakouts :( *more than 2 zits*
- Ugh. Made my face more oily, even though I applied foundation/pressed powder
- small packaging
- the smell is bearable but I still don’t like it
I’m not saying that this product may not work for you, but based on my experience it did not obviously worked for me. :(
